4 Tips: How To Update Your Home For Fall
Updating your space each season doesn't have to be expensive or time consuming. I've done the price comparing and research for you to shop classic, easy and affordable pieces.
When wanting to add the FEELS OF FALL but not break the bank there are some TIPS and TRICKS I use and apply to every season and holiday.
1. What you Love, choose pieces that you LOVE and will use!
TIP: Trays and vases utilize many options in the home. ie. Fall scented candle and faux greenery.
2. Adding pops of colour, however apply it with smaller items that can be easily switched out or moved around your home.
TIP: faux stems, pillow covers and throws are easy to store and switch out
3. Texture and comfort, can be easily transitioned using duvet covers, ceramic pottery and rugs.
TIP: Lay your duvet across the end of your bed while still using your summer quilt. Then, if you're chilly during the night you can easily pull it up, or just keep your feet warm.
4. Wood is a great option to add a feeling of warmth to your home. I am all for mixing different varieties and tones.
TIP: Start with your dominant wood tone and then add at least TWO other options of the same tone. ie. stools, end tables and coffee tables, trays and shelves.
